When active and fully inflated, the air seal ensures a 100% Impermeability against driving rain, wind and noise. When inactive, the window slides open with minimal force and friction less providing excellent running characteristics. Minimal wear and tear supports a long-life service life.
Construction Sagging

The façade of a high-rise building is exposed to enormous wind loads; pressure and suction forces. The membrane function of the air-seal ensures a 100% Impermeability even under construction movements. Conventional sealing systems easily fail under such conditions and over time.
Glass panels up to 25 sqm
Big and Bigger - air-lux can accept very large panel sizes of up to 25m2 in a frameless , floor to ceiling design. At a weight of nearly 2000kg , a slider of this type works much like a glass facade, which can slide away to the side in virtual silence.
Motorization
Thanks to the air-seal concept and without the friction of brush-seals the air-lux panel slides away effortless manually with a weight of up to 600kg. A fully integrated motor-drive is assisting to open and close the slider in higher weights. In case of power-failure the slider can be operated manually.
Security
Functions & Features
The highly resistant air-lux construction can be further enhanced with mechanical and electronic components as well as specific glass to a tested and certified up to RC2 / RC3 level. A full integration into home automation including access control, alarm systems, lock monitoring and audit trails ensure a high security of the openings.

The single air-lux LED button ensures a simple and intuitive operation of each sliding panel. Various additional features such as sun-shading, insect screen, gap ventilation, fall protection and threshold flap are available.

A wide variety of Opening options and Designs are possible including, Single, Bi-parting Double-slider, Curved slider, Corner solutions, Inclined panels and Pocket Windows. Air-lux specialists are keen to support the planning process in every step.

The air-lux sliding window with panel weights up to 1800kg and size up to 25m2 provides 100% Impermeability against driving rain, wind infiltration and noise. Effortless and smooth operations - either manual or automatic for panels heavier than 600kg.

Curved Sliding window in large Radius 10m (picture) or higher.
Minimum radius in curved solution is R3.5m
Air-sealing concept is forgiving tolerances in curved profiles as well as potential construction sagging way better than any conventional sealing system.

air-lux PIVOT Door
The pivot door is a captivating solution for large entrance areas. Pressing the push button releases the two air seals and unlocks the motorized locks. The door can then be opened manually in both directions – inward and outward – with virtually no effort, even for leaf weights exceeding 500 kg.
