Impermeability
Thanks to its patented sealing system, air-lux is the first 100% impermeable sliding window system for high-rise buildings. Until now, sliding windows have been rarely used in high-rise buildings due to impermeability problems. Whether it’s lift-slide, parallel sliding or brush seal systems: sealing is problematic in each of them. The patented air seal used by air-lux is the first system to introduce a completely new approach and guarantee 100% impermeability. And that over the entire life of the product – with no compromises.
Structural sagging
The air-lux sealing system also impresses with lintel counters of up to 40 mm and plinth counters of up to 20 mm.
Slight sagging and movement can occur in any structure. In high-rises, local supports combined with a load-bearing core in the centre perform the structural and stabilising function. In the suspended floors and ceiling between the supports, significant movement frequently occurs. This movement adversely affects the function of the façade and particularly the opening elements. There are two important questions when choosing the right windows: how much structural movement is to be expected, and how much movement can the windows absorb without compromising the seal? The patented air-lux sealing system remains 100% sealed with lintel sagging of up to 40 mm and base sagging of up to 20 mm.

Multi-point locking
The Gilgen multipoint locking FLUVERI is a high-quality lock system that guarantees fast and safe locking and unlocking of the door. It is invisibly incorporated into the vertical profile of the door leaves. Thanks to the pivoting locking bolts, the door is efficiently protected against forced opening attempts using lever action from any direction. As an option, this system can be complemented by a door and lock-monitoring feature.
The locking and unlocking is automatically achieved in a matter of seconds via the locking motor integrated in the door leaf. By means of a freewheel cylinder, the locking mechanism can be manually operated by means of a key, from inside and/or outside at a convenient service height. The locked door can also be unlocked and opened from inside using the manual unlocking lever available as an option.

The air-lux air-sealing system provides 100% impermeability against driving rain, air infiltration and noise reduction. Two continuous inflatable seals are fully integrated into the aluminium profiles. No friction, no wear and tear. This allows for a stunning design of the Clear Opening flush from floor to ceiling.
Main Entrance - Security
Minimum four electro-mechanical multipoint locking systems integrated with the electronic control board provide live information about the door status. Integration with 3rd party alarm and home automation monitoring systems guarantee a highly secure main entrance. Additional security can be provided with Security or attack resistant glass of up to 60mm can be accommodated
